Fundraising With A Purpose

This year the PTA is planning on fundraising for Fullerton School in ways that can improve our children's ability to participate and feel as though they are also contributing. "Fundraising with A Cause" is our new method of bringing in money that will not only help our school get the funds we need to continue to hold amazing event's like Grandparents Day, School Dance and 5th Grade Awards, but it will also help teach our children the importance of being involved in a community project,event or cause.

In the past your child's folders may have been filled with constant items to sell to family,friends and co workers it's a lot to do in a small amount of time but we also feel that there are ways that we can all contribute to Fullerton School with things that we use in our everyday lives.Granted we will still have a few things here and there that we sell like our "TAFFY APPLE" sale and "KIDS COUPON BOOKS" but those are two organizations that always are requested by the parents.

With the Help of some great research we have found a few programs that will help us raise money for our school and give back to the community.

All Year Around Recycling Program

Recycle PTA Program | FundingFactory.com  - Ms Kelly Wagner will be conducting a year round recycling program for ink,phones, etc info will be coming soon and we will set up recycling stations. Items will be mailed out monthly. This is a great way to teach kids how to help the environment and make some money back

Box Tops - Bring in your Box Tops

This program will run all year as well. Last year we raise almost 2.000.oo just by our students and staff bringing in Box Tops from from items that you purchase daily!

Box Tops Class Contest

Going on NOW - Top of the Class Party entry ends 10/21 - We will set up a little chart that has the weekly top classes and put them in our display case so the kids can see who’s winning. Winning Class wins 60 minute jump pass from Sky Zone and Teacher will win Gift Basket  End of year TOP BOX TOP contributor will receive $50 gift card

There is NO COST to you.- Simply ask your supporters to clean their closets and donate gently-used or new shoes in support of your program. With nothing to buy, and nothing to sell, it's a great way to raise funds! (Yay!)

1. Athletic ANGEL BOXES (Adult Athletic Shoe Drive):

Simply collect gently-used or new teen/adult sized athletic shoes (ie. running shoes, basketball shoes, tennis shoes, soccer cleats, and cross-trainers) during a 1- 3 month campaign period. We issue the shipping labels and pay for shipping when you arrange to send 10 boxes or more. Pair shoes by tying laces or with a rubber band. Pack the shoes in approved boxes to mail to our facility where the shoes are weighed.

Angel Bins will pay your organization $1.50 per pound.

Example: 1,500 pounds of athletic sneakers @ $1.50 per pound= $2,250.

2. Children's ANGEL BOXES (Children's Shoe Drive):

Simply collect gently-used or new children's shoes of many types over a 1-3 month campaign period. We issue the shipping labels and pay for shipping when you arrange to send 10 boxes or more, (aprox. 500 pounds). Pair shoes by tying laces or with a rubber band. Pack the shoes in approved boxes to mail to our facility where the shoes are weighed.

Angel Bins will pay your organization 45 cents per pound.

Example: 1,500 pounds of children's shoes @ 45 per pound= $675

Office Depot and Office Max - Give Back Program Please keep this card and number handy so when you check out our school will get 5% back on qualifying purchases this will come back to Fullerton School Staff - helping our teachers, staff members get the items that they need to run their class.
